In a determination dated 20 July 2011 the Weathertight Homes Tribunal awarded costs against a leaky home claimant of $261,998.52. The Tribunal Member, Roger Pitchforth, decided that the claim(s) lacked substantial merit and had been brought in bad faith. This award is the greatest award of costs against a claimant in the WHT.
