Paul Grimshaw acted for Joe Karam:
Amongst other cases, Paul Grimshaw acted for Joe Karam who successfully defended a defamation claim brought by three detectives of the Dunedin police. It was alleged by the police that Mr Karam's book, "David & Goliath", defamed them by criticising their involvement in the murder investigation which ultimately led to the conviction of David Bain for the murder of 5 members of his family. Joe Karam was acquitted by the jury on all allegations.
